Can you tell I was raging over this?
Wow, way to alienate the one of the only artists out there who not only continues to embrace the music video as a work of art, but one of the only artists who truly cares about music videos, period. Then again, I don’t think MTV’s been particularly culturally relevant since the early-mid 90’s. ESPECIALLY when it comes to music. For a network that still continues to function under a name in which that M stands for <u>music</u>, I don’t think they show more than 10 minutes of it per day and that’s by their own damn design.
Stick with pushing crap like Jersey Shore, guys. Whether you love Lady Gaga or hate her, somehow I doubt MTV could pull 13 million viewers on ANYTHING these days.
