Swords to Rust - Hearts to Dust

After what feels like an ETERNITY of searching through my music collection trying to find it, I finally unearthed Mayhem’s classic Live in Leipzig :)
Normally I severely dislike live recordings (the audience constantly going “woo” and yelling shit usually ruins it for me), but Live in Leipzig is one of three exceptions to this rule (the other two being both discs of Depeche Mode’s monumental 101 and Front 242’s Re:Boot : Live ‘98, a tour I actually attended when it came through Philadelphia).
Grim. Northern. Blackness.
I don’t care that you can buy Mayhem shirts at hot topic now, THIS Mayhem will always be kvlt. Dead, Euronymous, Necrobutcher, and Hellhammer will forever be the most epic of Mayhem lineups.
And at least black metal crowds don’t go “woo” and fuck up the whole thing.
